Summary of Position-
Triple Crown is looking for site directors to assist us in producing the best youth baseball tournament experiences for teams and families. Tournaments are located all over the country and being local to that area is a major plus. Markets needed – Omaha, Nebraska, Colorado, North Texas, Central Texas, South Texas, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and others.
Oversee and manage all games that are played on the field you are assigned. Answer or get the answer from the tournament director for any questions or rule interpretations throughout the weekend. Assist in any field maintenance needed throughout the day or maintain fields between games.
Duties and Responsibilities-
- Arrive at field at least one hour prior to first scheduled game start.
- Welcome guests to the game, present yourself positively, and provide friendly and courteous service.
-Check teams in prior to their first game.
- Fill out the front of the scorecard, and then give it to one of the head coaches for the upcoming game. (Will be trained on)
- After each game collect the scorecard from the umpire, make sure the scorecard is completed/signed with correct results and pitching. Do not let the umpire leave or start another game until you have the card and have made sure the score/pitching is completed!
- Input via smart phone score and pitching for each game after its completion to the tournament director.
-Check field playing surface after each game, spot rake as needed, drag infield after every 2 games minimum (if not provided by the field maintenance crew)
